About Identik and these terms
Identik is an independently operated, curated catalog of branding and design work for research and inspiration. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the operator of Identik. Contact us at hello@identik.design.
You can browse and search without an account. Signing in lets you save projects and shots as bookmarks. The service is free, with no purchases or paid subscriptions.
These terms govern your use of Identik. By using the service, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Our Privacy Policy separately explains personal information processing; agreement to these terms is not a substitute for any consent required by privacy law.
Accounts and access
You may sign in using Google, an email link, or a passkey where available. Only create an account if you can lawfully agree to these terms or have any authorization required by applicable law. Provide an email address you control and take reasonable care to protect your email account, sign-in links, passkeys, and devices.
Do not impersonate someone else or knowingly let another person misuse your account. Tell us at hello@identik.design if you suspect unauthorized access. Responsibility for unauthorized activity depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
You can change your name, request an email change, manage passkeys, remove bookmarks, and sign out through the site. For account deletion, contact us by email. We may verify that the request comes from the account holder. Removing an account does not affect rights you already have under applicable law.
Catalog and intellectual property
The catalog contains works and information collected from public studio websites and other public portfolio or media sources. Copyrights, trademarks, and other rights in featured names, logos, images, videos, and creative work remain with their respective rightsholders. Public availability does not mean that a work is free to reuse.
Identik hosts copies and prepared versions of some media and embeds or links to other media. A listing does not imply ownership of the work, endorsement by its creator or studio, or a license from Identik to reuse it. Attribution identifies a source or creator; it does not replace permission where permission is required.
You may use the website to browse, search, and bookmark references for personal or professional research. Access to Identik does not grant a license to reproduce, adapt, distribute, rehost, or commercially exploit a featured work. Obtain any permission needed from the relevant rightsholder. Nothing in these terms removes a right or exception available under applicable law.
Rights in original software, text, and other material created for Identik remain with the operator or the relevant licensors. Third-party software and materials remain subject to their own rights and licenses.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and respect the rights of studios, creators, and other visitors. Do not:
- Bypass authentication or access controls, attempt to access another person's account, or introduce malicious code.
- Disrupt the site, evade request limits, or automate requests or bulk downloads in a way that burdens the service or infringes rights in the catalog.
- Misuse sign-in or contact features to send spam, harass someone, impersonate a person or studio, or make a knowingly false report.
- Redistribute featured material in violation of the rights of its owner or present another person's work as your own.
You may link to public Identik pages. Do not suggest that Identik or a featured studio sponsors or endorses you without permission.
External sites and media
Some pages link to studio websites or display media from external hosts and players. External media can load or play automatically. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and their availability can change independently of Identik. A link or embed provides context and does not transfer rights in the content. Our Privacy Policy explains the information that may be sent when external media loads.
Corrections and rightsholder requests
If you own or represent rights in a featured work, or believe a listing infringes your rights, email hello@identik.design. You can also report inaccurate credits, studio details, or source links.
Our Copyright page explains what to include in a correction or removal request and how we review it. This contact process does not replace or limit any notice procedure, right, or remedy available under applicable law.
Accuracy and availability
Studio names, links, credits, tags, and other details come from sources that can change. Some descriptive tags may be suggested with AI assistance. Entries can be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Verify details with the original source or rightsholder before relying on them for a client project, attribution, or a licensing decision.
We may update, hide, or remove entries, change features, or interrupt access for maintenance, security, technical, or legal reasons. An entry may disappear even if you bookmarked it. We do not guarantee that a particular entry, feature, or external source will remain available. Any obligations imposed by applicable law still apply.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect the service or others, or comply with law. We will consider the nature and seriousness of the concern. You can contact hello@identik.design to ask us to review an access restriction.
You can stop using Identik at any time and request account deletion by email. Ending access does not remove any accrued rights or obligations, and provisions concerning intellectual property and earlier disputes continue to apply where relevant. Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
Responsibility and legal rights
Identik is an informational reference service. It does not verify or clear rights for your use of a featured work, and a listing should not be treated as licensing advice or a guarantee of attribution or accuracy.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or suitability for a particular purpose, and are not responsible for losses resulting from external services or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, excuses fraud, or limits mandatory consumer or data protection rights.
Changes and resolving concerns
We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised terms here and update the date. Changes apply going forward. If a change requires advance notice or agreement under applicable law, we will provide that notice or seek agreement before it applies to you.
If you have a concern or dispute, contact hello@identik.design so we can try to resolve it. You retain the right to use any court, regulator, or other remedy available under applicable law; contacting us first is not a condition of exercising those rights.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
